Interarch to set up a pre-engineered manufacturing facility in Gujarat

Interarch Building Products Pvt Ltd, a  turnkey pre-engineered metal building steel construction company, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Gujarat government for setting up a Rs 150 crore manufacturing facility for heavy steel pre-engineered sections.Gujarat government will allot 30-40 acres of land at Dholera for setting up a unit with 1.5 lakh tonnes per annum capacity. The project is expected to be commissioned by 2018, Arvind Nanda, chief executive officer and founder director, Interarch Building Products Pvt. Limited said.
The combined capacity of the company’s three existing plants in Utttarakhand and Tamil Nadu is one lakh tonnes per annum, scalable by another 50,000 tonnes. The Dholera facility will employ nearly 1,500 people and will cater to industrial, non-industrial and infrastructural building requirements in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan, Arvind Nanda said.
